OUR STORY · EST. 2024

One trailer. A whole lot of heart.

It started at Cosy Bay on 4 July 2024, with a simple idea: bring great coffee to people, wherever they are.

Our first trailer gave locals and beachgoers a place to pause, connect, and enjoy a cup made with care. As the community grew, so did Morning Mojo — from coffee trailers across Cape Town to a Café & Deli, and our home in Woodstock.

Care goes into the small details. Our trailers use solar power, biodegradable cups and lids, and cans in place of plastic bottles. Thoughtfully crafted coffee, a lighter footprint, and a familiar welcome: that’s what we’re here for.

Coffee is the starting point. Connection is the result.

Morning Mojo Café & Deli is an independently owned café in the heart of Cape Town, founded in 2025 by young entrepreneur Skye Williams, whose hospitality journey began as a waitress.

Morning Mojo is a special father-daughter venture, with Skye’s dad, Duane, supporting her from the beginning and helping design and bring the space to life. Today, Skye runs and grows the café with the same passion it was built on.

Enjoy breakfast, lunch, quality coffee, a deli selection, cocktails, beers and wines, sunny outdoor seating, with daily Cape Town walking tours departing right from our café.

ROASTED AT OUR WOODSTOCK HQ

The Morning Mojo Roastery.

Our roastery is the heart of our coffee operation, where we roast the beans that go into every Morning Mojo coffee. Everything is done in-house at our Woodstock headquarters, giving us complete control over the roasting process and allowing us to consistently deliver the flavour and quality we want in every cup.

Our signature house blend is a medium roast, made from a carefully selected combination of beans from Tanzania, Guatemala and Brazil. Each origin brings something different to the blend, creating a balanced, smooth and full-flavoured coffee that works beautifully across our espresso-based drinks.

From roasting and blending to the final cup at one of our trailers or coffee shops, our coffee is made by us, for you — fresh, local and unmistakably Morning Mojo.

The Morning Mojo Bakery.

Our artisanal bakery is where the magic happens behind all the delicious treats you find at Morning Mojo. Led by our Head Chef, Jamie, our bakery combines years of experience with a real passion for good food. Jamie was taught the art of making croissants by deaf bakers, and has taken that craft with her to Morning Mojo, creating beautifully laminated, buttery croissants completely from scratch.

Everything is made in-house at our Woodstock headquarters using quality ingredients and plenty of care. From traditional plain croissants and Pain au Chocolat made with Callebaut chocolate, to almond croissants filled with frangipane, Pastéis de Nata, freshly baked cakes, cookies, muffins, fudgy brownies and homemade crunchies — there’s always something good coming out of the oven.

Our baked goods are available in our coffee shop and are delivered fresh to our Morning Mojo trailers every day, so wherever you grab your coffee, there’s usually something delicious waiting to go with it.

This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage used by MORNING MOJO (PTY) LTD (registration 2024/385458/07), trading as Morning Mojo. Contact admin@morningmojo.co.za or 060 976 5768; our business address is 33 Sir Lowry Road, Woodstock, Cape Town, 8001.

Your choices

Choose Essential only, select individual optional categories and Save choices, or accept optional cookies. Optional choices start off. You can change or withdraw your choice using Cookie notice & settings in the footer. Shopping does not require acceptance of optional cookies or subscription to marketing emails.

What the categories mean

We use Shopify to operate the store. Choices made here are passed to Shopify’s Customer Privacy API, which controls Shopify’s consent-aware services. Our store is configured to require optional-data consent in its selected regions, including South Africa. Data-sale/sharing consent is kept off by our custom controls.

Storage and duration

Shopify uses cookies for store and checkout operation and, subject to choices and enabled services, optional purposes. Cookie names and durations vary by feature. Shopify maintains its current list in its cookie policy.

Our theme stores the following first-party local-storage records: mojo-live-consent-v1 (choice record), mojo-live-reward-seen-v1 (welcome offer already displayed) and mojo-live-reward-due-v1 (the short display timer). These are not advertising identifiers. They have no automatic local-storage expiry and remain until cleared by your browser or replaced by a later choice. The timer is cleared after the offer opens. Shopify’s own consent record is separate and may expire; we ask again if it no longer contains a valid choice.

Changing your mind

Use Cookie notice & settings, change the options and save. A withdrawal affects future consent-dependent processing; it does not undo processing already performed lawfully. Browser settings can also delete or block stored data. This can clear your bag or preferences and cause the notice and welcome offer to appear again. If saving fails, the notice shows an error so you can retry.

Email and future advertising

Cookie permission is separate from email subscription. The welcome form asks for an explicit email-marketing opt-in. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails or contact us. Order and service messages are separate. The quiz answer is not saved to your customer record by our theme.

No Meta pixel or advertising account is being connected at this stage. Before adding an email-marketing integration or advertising tracking, we will update the relevant disclosures and check that the integration respects the applicable choices. This policy does not describe future tracking as already active.

Returns & refunds policy

Morning Mojo is operated by MORNING MOJO (PTY) LTD, registration 2024/385458/07.

Contact us Email admin@morningmojo.co.za or call 060 976 5768. Include your order number, a description of the issue and, where reasonably available, photographs of the product and packaging. Contact us before sending a return so we can provide the correct instructions. This process does not remove statutory rights.

Unopened coffee If you change your mind, notify us within seven calendar days after delivery or collection. Our voluntary change-of-mind policy covers bags that are unopened, unused and in their original condition. We will arrange the return process with you.

Customers pay the direct return courier cost for a change-of-mind return. Return address: Morning Mojo Coffee HQ, 33 Sir Lowry Road, Woodstock, Cape Town, Western Cape, 8001. Please contact us for return instructions before dispatch. We cover necessary return costs where the return results from our error or non-compliant goods, as required by law.

Opened coffee and taste preferences We do not offer change-of-mind refunds solely because an opened coffee does not suit your personal taste. This does not exclude claims about incorrect, defective, unsafe, misdescribed or otherwise non-compliant goods, or any applicable statutory cancellation right.

Incorrect orders If we supply the wrong coffee, size, grind or quantity, contact us. We will correct our error and cover necessary return and replacement delivery costs. You retain any applicable right to reject the goods or obtain a refund; replacement is not your only remedy where the law provides a choice.

Damaged or compromised packaging Please report damage, leakage or a broken seal promptly, ideally within 48 hours, with photographs if possible. The 48-hour request helps us investigate; it is not a deadline that removes your legal rights. Do not consume coffee that appears unsafe. Keep the packaging and batch information where reasonably possible while we arrange a resolution.

Quality problems We will investigate genuine quality concerns fairly. Where goods fail to meet applicable consumer-law requirements, we will honour the remedies available to you, including a refund or replacement where applicable, without an unlawful penalty. Statutory defective-goods remedies are not limited to unopened bags or seven days.

Refunds Refunds are processed within 30 calendar days of a valid cancellation or refund request, or sooner where required by law. We do not restart a statutory deadline when a return is inspected or approved. Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method. If that is not possible, we will agree a lawful alternative with you. Payment-provider processing may affect when funds appear in your account, but does not extend a legal refund deadline. We will not require you to accept store credit instead of a refund where a refund is due by law.

Online cancellation rights Where the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act cooling-off right applies, it operates independently of our voluntary policy: cancellation may be exercised within seven days after receipt, without a reason or penalty other than the permitted direct cost of returning the goods. A qualifying refund must be made within 30 days of cancellation. Any statutory exclusions must actually apply to the goods and transaction; we do not assume all coffee is automatically excluded because it is food or ground to order.

Storage Keep coffee sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Deterioration caused by improper storage or misuse after delivery is not covered by our voluntary policy. This does not exclude responsibility for a defect present on supply or other statutory obligations.

Your consumer rights Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law. If you are unhappy with our response, you may seek assistance through the appropriate consumer dispute-resolution body, including the National Consumer Commission: https://thencc.org.za/.

Delivery & collection policy

Delivery in South Africa

Nationwide delivery costs R99. Shipping is free on orders over R1,000. Orders of exactly R1,000 do not qualify for free shipping. The applicable delivery charge is shown at checkout.

Dispatch and delivery times

We dispatch orders with The Courier Guy within two working days after the order is placed, excluding weekends and public holidays. After dispatch, estimated delivery is 1–3 working days for metro areas and 3–5 working days for regional areas. Dispatch preparation and courier transit are separate. Contact us if your order is delayed or you need help with delivery.

Free collection

Collect from Morning Mojo Coffee HQ, 33 Sir Lowry Road, Woodstock, Cape Town, Western Cape, 8001. Orders are ready after two days; Friday orders are available on Monday unless otherwise arranged by phone after ordering. Please wait for your ready-to-collect notification before travelling.

Collection is Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:00. On public holidays falling on weekdays, collection is 08:00–13:00. Collection is closed on weekends. Bring your order confirmation. Phone 060 976 5768 for other arrangements.

Delivery problems

Check your delivery address and contact details when ordering. Contact us promptly about a missing, incorrect or damaged delivery. Our returns and refunds policy explains your options. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights.
